CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES WIN BIG!

ABOUT DAVID & SUSAN BAUGH
DAVID BAUGH
I earned a B.S. in secondary education from Missouri State University, then made a career of the US Coast Guard, originally planning only a 4-year stint. I loved serving my country and being a part of something bigger than myself. I achieved the rank of Commander and spent 12 years at CGHQ in Washington DC, in a position which allowed me to support and enhance Ashore Operational Capabilities.
During my service at CGHQ, I attended night school and earned a Masters in Quality Systems Management. Upon retiring from the military with 21years of active duty, I remained in the D C. region and served as an associate with two top-tier consulting firms.

SUSAN BAUGH
I also earned my undergrad at Missouri State University. I was blessed to be the stay at home mom of our three children. I founded and served 5 consecutive, 1-year terms as President of the Republican Women of Charles County Maryland, a very blue county in a very blue state. During this time I worked with both the Maryland Federation of Republican Women and National Federation of Republican Women to campaign for and elect a Republican Maryland governor, Bob Ehrlich. As president of the RWCC, I worked in conjunction with the Charles County GOP to secure Governor Ehrlich and Leiutenant Governor Michael Steele to speak at two consecutive Lincoln Day Dinners. Together, the Charles County GOP and Republican Women of Charles County grew the conservative base in the county, increased voter registration, and encouraged citizen participation in all levels of government.
In 2006, I was honored to be named the Republican of the Year by the Charles County Republican Central Committee.
When I first started RWCC, the first thing people said when they contacted me was,”I thought I was the only conservative in the county!” Rest assured, that is not true! And here in East Tennessee, we certainly should all have a community of like-minded conservatives with whom to connect. ETC is that community.
